Lucia Josephine Khasalamwa is a Human Resource Development Practitioner with over 7 years’ experience in implementation of youth empowerment and development programs.
She currently working with Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) as Supervisor Employment Management where she manages the operations of the two Public Youth Centers under KCCA; The KCCA Employment Services Bureau and the
Kabalagala One Stop Youth Center. The centers aim to reduce youth unemployment through delivery of programs that promote employability, entrepreneurship and active citizenship among youth in Kampala City. She holds a Diploma in Productive Employment and Descent Work for Sustainable Development from the Swedish Public Employment Service, a certificate in Administrative Law from Law Development Center, a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration and Management from Uganda Management Institute and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Makerere University.
She is a certified TOT on Financial Literacy by Bank of Uganda, Youth Mentor and Leader at KCCA and Redeemed Church respectively. She is the Chairperson Peculiar Ladies Investment Club. She is passionate about ministry, physical fitness and event management.
